    Product description
    Universal meter YT-73097 with TRUE RMS function, with a unique design, with automatic and manual measuring range. It enables basic and advanced measurements of electrical quantities. The large multifunctional LCD display allows, in some measurement modes, to display two values ​​at once, e.g. voltage and frequency from a power socket. The housing is equipped with a red rubber holster with dedicated places for test probes, thanks to which the meter will not slip easily from your hands and minimize the risk of damage during a fall. The modern design of the plate and special software mean not only the speed, accuracy and repeatability of indications, but also an increased level of safety, which is confirmed by obtaining CAT IV certification up to 600V.

    BUILT-IN FUNCTIONS

    TRUE RMS - a meter with this function calculates the real effective value of AC voltage and current for both sinusoidal and non-sinusoidal waveforms. The device first measures the real value of the sine wave in several time intervals → then squares the measurement results → sums them up → calculates the mean → and finally the mean result takes the square root. The measurement result is a real RMS voltage / current, even for a deformed sinusoid or square wave.
    NCV - non-contact detection of alternating voltage with the induction method. The meter detects the presence of voltage in an insulated conductor using the NCV sensor on the front of the device
    LIVE - phase presence test using one of the measurement probes. It allows you to check which of the holes in the electrical socket is in phase. Insert the measuring probe into the hole, if the phase is detected, the message LIVE will appear on the display
    V.F.C. - low-pass filter. This function is used, for example, when measuring the output voltage of an electric motor controller, which uses the frequency and voltage variation to control the speed of the motor (VFD controllers). After activating the function, the meter filters out high-frequency disturbances, e.g. from the PWM signal, and leaves only the low frequency. This allows the filter to accurately measure the RMS voltage / current flowing to the motor
    AUTO - automatic adjustment of the measuring range. If you measure unknown values ​​with a handwheel manual ranging, take the measurements sequentially from the largest range up to the range giving the most accurate result - otherwise you risk damaging the device. However, in the case of a multimeter with the AUTO function, it is enough to take one measurement and the meter will automatically find the optimal range. The YT-73097 meter is a unique design, because in addition to the automatic measurement modes, it also offers basic electrical measurements on ranges set manually with the use of a knob, thus combining the advantages of both solutions. If we know the approximate value of the measurement and set the appropriate range, we will gain in the speed of indications
